The Seattle Seahawks vs St. Louis Rams will be an NFL Week 1 match up. This game will be played at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri at 1:00 p.m. eastern time on Sunday, September 13, 2015.

This game will be the Seattle Seahawks game to lose. They are hungry after the heartbreaking last minute Superbowl loss to New England in February and their focus in the off-season and the first few OTAs (Organized Team Activities) of this season show it. The offense will be led, of course, by Quarter Back Russell Wilson. Primary backup QB is still out as an unrestricted free agent so B.J. Daniels and R.J. Archer are receiving snaps during mini-training camps and OTAs. One of the big offensive changes is at the Tight End position, where Jimmy Graham has set up shop. He was acquired in a trade with the New Orleans Saints. The other big change is in the offensive line. The Seahawks lost starting Center Max Unger in the Jimmy Graham trade with the Saints. Six year veteran Center Lemuel Jeanpierre will replace Unger. They also lost veteran Guard James Carpenter to the New York Jets but have a number of draft picks to choose from to fill that hole.

Head Coach Pete Carroll hired a new Defensive Coordinator, Kris Richard and the Seattle defense is looking fierce. Tackle Alvin Bailey reported for duty at least 30 pounds slimmer and very fit. He is committed to rising to the challenge of a starter with Tackle Jesse Williams out after kidney surgery on May 28, 2015. Williams has Papillary Type 2 Cancer and the entire team is rallying for him.

The other side of the Seattle Seahawks vs St. Louis Rams duel has an uphill battle. The St. Louis Rams have done an entire off-season overhaul. Head Coach Jeff Fisher and General Manager Les Snead brought in 26 rookies from the draft. They are hoping that Running Back rookie Todd Gurley comes back strong after his knee injury. The Rams announced that Quarter Back Nick Foles will be the unquestioned starter so at least now the offense has a leader and that stress of off Foles' shoulders. Wide Receivers are looking good with Kenny Britt, Brian Quick and Tavon Austin. The Tight End starters appear to be Jarod Cook and Lance Kendricks, both of whom have been pulling in some amazing catches.

The St. Louis Rams defensive line is looking very strong. Defensive Ends Chris Long and Robert Quinn compliment the defense nicely. Linebacker Akeem Ayeers replaced Jo-Lonn Dunbar and is definitely one to watch. The Secondary is solid and Special Teams didn't see a lot of change.

This will be an fun game to watch. Both teams have a lot to prove for different reasons. Seattle Seahawks vs. St. Louis Rams, Week 1 NFL action. Don't miss out!
